Course Description
Swim
- Beach Start
- Heats according to age
- 3 minute intervals starting with youngest to oldest
- Swim is in Kempenfelt Bay, parallel to shore
- KOS swim is in 3-6 feet of water — Lifeguards on both sides
- Adult swim is 100m from shore, across and back
Bike
- Closed paved roads following the shore of Kempenfelt Bay
- 5K loops (smaller loop for some KOS)
Run
- Out and back on paved walking path
- Two water stations (Transition and 2K)
- Turn-around at 2.5K

- Hand paddles and/or flippers are not allowed
- Wetsuits are allowed (may be revoked at the discretion of the Race Director)
- No Drafting on the bike
- Mandatory approved helmets on the bike for everyone
- KOS Helmets must be checked by the race officials before entering the Transition zone
- Roads will be closed to vehicles during the race, but some corners are tight. Use caution and common sense on turns.

Driving Directions
From South of Barrie:
Take Highway 400 North to Essa Road, East to Tiffin; turn Right on Tiffin to Lakeshore. Turn Left on Lakeshore, follow Lakeshore to Centennial Beach (approx. 1K)
From North of Barrie:
Take Highway 400 South to Bayfield, South on Bayfield to Lakeshore. Turn Right on Lakeshore, follow Lakeshore to Centennial Beach (approx. 1K)
